Summary of the foundations of the Islamic faith

Man is endowed with reason, and this is what makes him different from many other creatures!

Reason is the ability to distinguish truth from error, right from wrong, good from bad, useful from harmful.

Therefore, a person, as a rational being, is obliged to use this gift to comprehend the meaning of his life and get answers to the most important questions.

the most important thing that our mind can comprehend is the belief that this world has a creator - Almighty God.

                                                                                                      BASES OF FAITH

True beliefs about God are as follows, and who they are, he really understands who God is:

1. The conviction that there is One - the Only Creator of everything that exists besides Him. He is the Eternal without beginning, and everything else has a beginning, that is, it appeared.

He is Unchanging and Does not need anyone or anything, and everything else changes and needs the One who changes it.

2. The belief that God (Allah) is the only one who exists without beginning, and He is absolutely different from everything that has the beginning of its existence. You cannot think and speak of God as created.

3. The conviction that everything without exception happens according to the predestination of the Creator.

God determined the existence of each of the created, that is, He created each of His creation, predetermining its fate, and it is unchanging - that which is destined God does not change and will certainly happen. 3. The conviction that everything without exception happens according to the predestination of the Creator.

God determined the existence of each of the created, that is, He created each of His creation, predetermining its fate, and it is unchanging - what is destined by God does not change and will certainly happen.

4. The conviction that only Allah is worthy of worship, i.e. only God is worthy of the manifestation of the highest degree of humility and obedience. Since God is the only creator of everything: both causes and their consequences, He rules over each of His creation and everything belongs to Him.

In addition to knowledge about God, the foundations of the Islamic doctrine include faith in the Prophets of Allah , in particular:

5. The conviction of the chosenness and truthfulness of Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم son of Abdullah, an Arab by birth, that is, the belief that he was the Prophet and Messenger of Allah Almighty.

The Creed of the Messenger of Allah

The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said: <>. In his book „al-Asma’ was-Sifat’ (The Names and Attributes of Allah) the Imam and Hafidh, Ahmad Ibn al-Husayn al-Bayhaqiyy (died 458 AH) said:

“Some of our companions used the saying of the Prophet: <> as evidence to refute the allocation of the concept of place to Allah, they concluded that since there is nothing above Him and nothing beneath Him, therefore, He exists without a place”.

The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, also said:

<>. In his book “al-I^tiqad” (The Creed) Imam al-Bayhaqiyy said when elucidating the meaning of this Hadith: “This indicates that eternally nothing existed other than Allah; no water, no ^Arsh (The Throne) and no other creation, they are all classified as other than Allah”.
