On September 3, in Odessa, on the site where the prayer house of the Muslim community used to be, the construction of a new Cathedral Mosque began. The event was solemn in nature and was held with the participation of the Mufti of Ukraine, representatives of state authorities and the diplomatic corps. This event is historical not only for the Muslims of Odessa, but for the whole of Ukraine.
The Supreme Mufti of Ukraine Sheikh Ahmed Tamim, together with the central office of the Religion Administration Muslims of Ukraine, visited the Muslim communities of Mirogorod, Poltava and Kharkov. The main purpose of the meetings was the desire to personally learn about the state of prayer rooms in cities, the needs of communities and their current issues.
At the branches of the Religious Administration of Muslims of Ukraine, there are children's educational institutions where children study religious and secular disciplines.
