Having gathered in mosques, Muslims congratulated each other on this beautiful festive, performed the festive prayer, and listened  about Eid al-Adha. Children also joined the celebration, getting to know the traditions of Islam from a young age.

Muslims traditionally gathered in the mosques to perform the festive prayer, after which the Muslims started celebrating. Everyone could join the events. In the communities for children were organised  separate play areas and fun activities.

In the morning, festive zikrs were heard in the Poltava mosque, exalting our Creator and His Prophets. After that, festive prayers and sermons took place.

Believers gathered in mosques to perform festive prayers and congratulate each other on Eid al-Adha. Community imams preached about this blessed event. After the festive prayer, our brothers slaughtered the animals and distributed meat among the believers.

Despite the rainy weather, the event was successful and took place in a warm and joyful atmosphere! Everyone who helped, even a little bit, made a big contribution to organization of this important event for every Muslim!

Many Muslims have come to the mosque  to celebrate it according to traditions of Islam. The Religious Administration of Muslims of Ukraine is always open and happy to communicate with representatives of television and the press.

Sheikh Hasan Ahatov told reporters important information about the traditions of celebrating the great event and shared knowledge about how to make a sacrifice (qurban).

Gathered together, Muslims spent time actively in nature, tasted dishes from Avar and Tajik cuisine, and of course did not go without a religious lesson – Imam Shamil came to conduct it.
