Traditionally, flags from previous Mawlid years were displayed, along with this year's banner under the slogan «O Prophet, we miss you!» Around 500 guests attended the event, including ambassadors and representatives from various countries' embassies, such as Egypt, Sudan, Algeria, Palestine, Azerbaijan, Indonesia, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, and others.
The event also visited the heads of national diasporas and representatives of Muslim civic organizations.
The Grand Mufti of Ukraine, Sheikh Ahmed Tamim, showed a relic of the Prophet, صلى الله عليه وسلم, which is preserved in Ukraine's central mosque.
The program featured Mawlids in various languages: Arabic, Tajik, Turkish, Vainakh, and even Ukrainian.
Sheikh Ahmed Tamim addressed the congregation, encouraging believers to stay in their homeland, defend it, and develop the place where they live. The Grand Mufti also expressed his hope that those who were forced to leave Ukraine would return to contribute to the good of the country.
At the end of the event, attendees had the opportunity to receive a blessing by touching the hair of the Prophet Muhammad, صلى الله عليه وسلم.
May God help us express even more love for the last Prophet.
